Music wasn't the only thing alive at El Rey theater Monday night. Despite the fact Elly was deadly sick, La Roux still put on a pretty good (but short) show. And of course, the fashion was nothing short of Eye Candy DANDY!

I have been looking for this jade color since July and finally got my hands on it... I don't know if it looks like my nails just puked or i think its halloween.. but i am kinddaa loving it.

Also, really liking the matte effect. I heard mixed reviews about the new matte trend, but I say try it! I really like it but some people hate the fact it doesn't have that shine effect we are so use to. I mean... you can always finish it off with a top coat, but it kinda defeats the purpose.

The company I'm currently working at does PR/events/pulls for tons of designers and stylists and I have fallen in LOVE LOVE LOVE with our shoe closest, which consists mostly of the Brazilian shoe designer Alexandre Birman. Everyone will be wearing him soon and I wish I could just run away with these insanely priced shoes.

The XX

I'm a big fan of The XX self-titled album, but if you're not into that kinda gloomy, indie stuff... you may find it a little boring. I'm happy they are getting love from everywhere. And when Pitchfork declares it one of the best new albums, I'd say it worth checking out.
